For $35 the Ultimate Octave was a steal.

Not something I use every day but it's solid, well built, and sounds good.

Apparently the sound can be improved on at least some Ultimate Octave Fuzz pedals by reversing &/or swapping a couple of capacitors. This should be a fairly easy job if you've soldered PCBs before.

Also, it looks like Fulltone had words with Joyo - I ordered an Ultimate Octave and was horrified that they sent me the wrong thing! The sent a "Voodoo Octave" instead! :cry:

i bought an ultimate drive pedal just for the hell of it, and it sounds surprisingly great. i've owned fancy boutique pedals that sounded far worse, and had a higher noise floor. i'm gonna have to do something about the god-awful graphics, though.

thanks Strolls! yah, i'm not gonna mod anything on that little bugger. just wanted to see how it sounded. was a'ight, but mine's just been laying around at my house. i have enough AWESOME fuzzes from builders that i love to support that i don't reaply have a use for it.

hell, if anybody wants it cover the shipping (like $12 ConUs) and i'll send it to you. if anybody wants it pm me.
