Yard sale find from Saturday,
Just got it strung up
Neck is a baseball bat, no truss rod, but I don't think it needs one
plays a little high, but reminds me of my first harmony.

Got it tuned do DADGAD today and it is a blast to play
really takes me back
I wish I could track down one of thos old harmonies,
as I recall the neck was press board because the paint on the fret board eventually wore off
these guitars have a natural distortion when you push in hard which is pretty cool

I put elixer strings on it
15$ strings on a 10$ guitar

If I have ever been as happy with a gear purchase, I can't recall it.
What a great fuckin' guitar.

Big bonus - I thought this guitar was a standard D1 with Sitka spruce top,
but it's actually a D1A, which means it has an Adirondack top.
Nicer guit, more expensive guit - Collings charges about $1000 extra for the Adirondack.
ha, I'd like to compare to the Sitka, but damn this thing sounds great!
