Woah.
More coffee tables than I expected, but you guys have cool stuff.
I'm still sort of new to the whole bass game, but I think I just really want a Rickenbacker 4003, and probably never will.
I'm probably going to pick up some a Peavey T-40 though. So cheap and rad. I have a sexy Ibanez Fretless P/Tele bass thing, but fretless still weirds me out after close to a year.
I'll post pictures at some point.

T-40s weigh about the same as a Mack Truck. Just saying. They are pretty highly regarded though. I say a T-20 I believe it was hanging in a consignment shop for around 2 bills IIRC.

I had a T60 guitar at one point and I still swear it weighed more than my aluminum Kramer 4 stringer does.

I'm young and stupid, so weight isn't really an issue in all honestly.
Probably the last thing I take into consideration.

I maintain that heavy basses just sound better. My back maintains I'm a jerk.

Got Delta's Dingwall in yesterday!!!!!! Well...I guess it's mine now. lol. I'm really enjoying it so far. My wrists are hurting a bit from it, which is odd, but it's not a killer. I think I just need to get used to the frets. Funny thing is, I normally play the fret board how the Dingwall has them layout out anyway. So I was just jammin' along with no issues. Other than that little soreness. Muscle memory and all that jazz.

I think this holds some water. My bass is a beast. I never properly weighed it but I think it's over 11lbs. Tone for days,...especially with freshie strings. My back also hates; hence the 4 inch wide leather strap.
