Problem with Mackie, MacBook Pro and Apogee

Post by Tigerbass »

Hi Everybody!
I'm having a problem here I can't seem to figure out, hopefully I am just missing something obvious.

Ok...I have a Mackie Onyx 1640i that I run into my Macbook Pro. Until now, flawlessly.
I got an Apogee Duet recently and for conviences' sake I have been using that to record into my MBP.
Now the problem...I went to use my Mackie because I am getting ready to start tracking my band and I can not get any levels on my MBP.

The Apogee is disconnected, my MBP is reading and recognizing the Mackie, I have the channels pulled up on Garageband going to the tracks and I am getting NO signal.
The Mackie is working fine, no mutes on, etc but for some reason the track is NOT getting the signal.

I went in my MBP, and made sure nothing is set to the Duet. Everything reads Mackie Onyx 1640i but NOTHING is being read on the track?

I hope this makes sense. This is driving me CRAZY!
Thanks so much.
