That blew my mind. I've never had that accurate of a reading before.

I have a ton of weird beliefs. Here some are in bullet form!

• Aliens, and that I've had encounters myself
• Chakras
• Crystal
• Past lives (and in turn, reincarnation and soul mates)
• Loads of conspiracies (Illuminati)
• Personal Energies
• Psychic powers (telepathy, kinesis, astral projection, that type of stuff)

there's a lot of other things, I'm just a bit frazzled right now.

I am skeptic, but I've seen very weird things: A shaman working, very accurate tarot readings and people that perceives things before they happen.

Once I went myself to see a spanish cards reader and afterwards she worked with candles, baths, and some other things. For some time it seemed to help me with some problems I had, but the most interesting part was talking in the waiting room with some of the people that she helped.

Other time I accompained some guys of a local TV show to a couple of their investigations, on the first we visited a very old place, but there was nothing strange there, on the second we went to their own place of work, the TV cannel, and surprisingly, some things moved in a room that was supposed to be haunted, and the bathroom chilled for no aparent reason, lectures of electromagnetic fields went insane.

I've been told that my grand-grandmother was a seer and helped a lot of people in the little town where she lived.

I fucking love how the universe is intertwined and how you can trace back evolution to the big bang itself, and see all those connections.
And I'm into deterministic chaos basically.
But I'm not sure if I should side with Khorne or Tzeentch

Evolution. No intrinsic truths or morals to the universe besides cause and effect. No altruism. The universe, by nature, HAS to be infinite. Think about it. What's outside the solar system? Ok. What's outside the galaxy? Now what? and After that? There can't be a true beginning or end. That wouldn't make any sense. Not that much anything makes sense when looked at through human eyes.

Great thread! I do lots and lots of leisurely research on demonology,various mythologies,Satanism, Gnosticism,and many other related subjects. As far as my personal,not-the-norm beliefs go, I can only speak from my own experiences. At age 4, I dreamed of my grandfather's liquor store being robbed. 2 years later, it happened. And earlier on the night it happened, I had a strong feeling that I was going to lose a male grandparent. In another instance involving my grandfather, I was at a big band concert (which my gramps promoted when he was alive). A lot of the band conductors, of course, were dead by then. In this case, the band featured was Tommy Dorsey's. I knew at that time, Dorsey was dead, though some of the original players were with this band. Now, my little bladder had all the Ginger Ale it could stand. I leave the festivities for a pee. Having been given the "don't talk to strangers" lecture on many occasions, I made it a point to look in the bathroom. No one was there. So I proceed to use a kid sized urinal, when I heard a noise that I can only describe as cavernous and otherworldly. I naively asked "who's there"? And a voice no less cavernous and otherworldly answered "TOMMY DORSEY"-Fortunately I managed not to get my dingaling in my zipper, as caution took a backseat to getting the fuck out of there.

Wouldn't infinity mean "no absolute" truth, because the possibility of the existence of anything? Infinity is most likely a real concept, but we are constrained by physics, and (to use a term I believe was coined by Alejandro Jodorowsky) consensus reality.

I was referring to the photo mainly as a way to point out the scale of the universe, and how puny we are, in relation to it. That's why I wrote, "not that much anything makes sense when looked at through human eyes." We think we know about the world/universe, but scientists will be the first to say that as much as we know, we really don't know that much. Of all those facts listed, it should be pretty apparent that our brains confabulate the majority of our perceived reality so that we can basically survive and navigate this strange experience we refer to as reality.

It's been awhile since I've read Castaneda. The first four book are definitely worth reading. They're very confusing, especially in terms of the relationships he establishes. It only gets more confusing as his tale progresses. You pretty much have to suspend your disbelief. Whether it's actually fact or fiction, I couldn't tell you, but it's interesting nonetheless.

I'm inclined to agree but given that you're a natural scientist and/or read a lot in that field I have the suspicion that we might mean totally different things by the same words.
