EQD Flanger?

Postby zRobertez » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:03 am

Wouldn't that be great? I just sent them an email asking if they had any plans and then I discovered their forum so I thought I'd post here too.
I was thinking about the possibilities of an EQD flanger. Just think of the possibilities!

That would be cool or maybe some kind of crazy wah. I always thought it would be cool if someone made a fuzz wah that self oscillated and you could have a frequency sweep to dial in the oscillation.

Didn't Jamie say he hasn't done a flanger because he's never used one..?

Love the a/da flanger sound.
I had the ibanez af2 gilbert flanger for a while, it did the ada thing pretty well (and the takeoff switch was nuts), but it was sooo huge.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

I had an Arion SF-L for a while that sort of did that cool vocal flange that the ad/a does. I dig that sound, but I'm partial to the Electric Mistress sound.

I would be very interested to see the EQD take on a flanger.

I have a broken Davis modded DEM. So yes and no, I suppose. When working properly, they can kind of blur the lines between chorus and flange - kind of warmer and less swooshy than some other kinds of flanger. I currently have a Cosmichorus which can be set kind of in that middle ground like I like.
