Today was a bitter sweet DIY day for me. I'm super stoked about the Woolly Mammoth clone I just made but I'm really disappointed that my Meathead doesn't work. I really don't know how I could have messed up on that Meathead but it makes me want to cry.

I messed up a meathead.

Supposedly the tranny pin outs are unusual.

A pt2399 based delay with open delay loop (ie put effects in the delay loop via send and return jacks) and option of expression pedal to control rate.

Knobs are volume feedback and rate.

Pcb i made. Forgot 1 wire pad so you can see the red wire on the lug of the pot on the upper left corner. Otherwise worked out as expected.

yep soon enough. maybe even tomorrow. pretty sure it has been done before but my friend wanted me to make him 2 so we can put whammy pedals in the loop. its pretty ridiculous. similar in spirit to the old eventide rackmounts ha. the real setup is whammy with volume pedal in the loop and expression pedal on delay time. the trim pots on the pcb are to setup the sweep range of the rate pot so you can keep it all nice and clean or set it up for total digital crapout which the pt2399 does in its own special way.

a simple vibrato in the loop does some interesting stuff too. i still haven't built 2 but im wondering what one in the loop of the loop will do.

Regards the fonts, the Rams Head uses 'Bocklin' font, and the later models use ITC pioneer.

That looks killer! I recently purchased three of your Big Muff boards for some projects I'm working on. I am thinking about purchasing one of your new enclosures for one of the projects! I'll be using NOS ceramic disc capacitors (all 1kv) and 1/2 watt carbon comp resistors. I also have some high gain 2N5133 transistors as well!

What font is that for the "Rams Head" text and the PI symbol?

So I got this mammoth blem enclosure that was drilled for 4 knobs and it had some weird other holes drilled in it. I thought I'd make myself a woolly mammoth clone that I could throw around since I've been playing bass in my band a lot lately. So it's ugly but it sounds super awesome. I used a big knob for the volume so I could adjust it with my foot without hitting the other knobs.

I'm really happy with it!

Oh yeah and I forgot to order led bezels so there's no led right now.

Shit, that sounds like some ridiculous fun! I've been trying to finalize a circuit for someone with a PT. It's pretty much done but I keep finding some new sounds that I want to incorporate but the switching aspects are starting to be endless. Fun chip.....
