Fuck vs B3K vs Rusty Box
The Fuck is definitely the least ubiquitous of the three. It also gets the dirtiest of the three, I do believe. B3K has a blend, and I thought was the least dynamic of them (though still dynamic). Rusty Box's Boost switch was very handy, but I like to use the Fuck's fucking for a fuzzier drive sound. The Rusty Box has the advantage of also working as a direct box, or a preamp (enough to power a power amp or drive some speakers on its own), and it's certainly the most dynamic of the three, as far as touch-sensitivity goes. The Rusty Box is also the only one with its own full-blown 3-band EQ, and it's a bass-friendly one, for sure. I definitely think the Fuck is the best of the bunch to be driven by other dirt, but the Rusty Box isn't far behind.
The fact that the only tone adjustment on the Fuck is a simple high-cut is jawsome, in my opinion. I love full-range drive, but sometimes the grit gets a liiittle too bright, and easily adjustable. And to be honest, I wasn't terribly impressed with the B3K (if you couldn't tell).
Ranking!
1) Fuck (for its tone, dynamics, and sheer beefiness)
2) Rusty Box (for its versatility and phenomenal touch-sensitivity)
3) B3K
Tigerbass + Eric! = fat toanz f'real

Overhaul why!?, its one of my favorite boards ive seen on here
The Fuck isn't quite satisfying me, so Brian will build me a slightly modified version when he gets back. Lunar Echo is out but will return eventually with an added FX loop, that's going before or after the Goatse, will have to play around with that. Got a few other things incoming, Polygrace, -CENSORED- and a Sonic Death Ray. Waiting to jump on the ExpressYourSelfinator when that gets released and drooling over the Clusterflux. Guess that might end up being more a case of adding stuff than an overhaul.Fuzz_Pi wrote:U should give me that katanasound i think
The Katanasound is my favourite fuzz, it's not going anywhere. Besides you live in the state of the only non-Japanese dealer anyway so you can pick it up for $265.
I do? Which dealer?

Can't order through the website and they don't list prices for Katanasound, but you can call or email to get one.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Eric that's one flippin' sweet setup! SSbS and DrSci love.

So this is a month on from selling all my verb. Everything else pretty much remains as is. And I finally got my Malekko 600D fixed and threw it back on the board. I'd still like to get an M9 and some kind of compressor pedal that I dig.

Last 2 boards are deeelicious! But eric, isn't it really difficult to switch on half the pedals when they're upside down and stuff?
