You ship a guitar across the globe without packing it properly and then you tell the buyer to go fuck themselves? Wow, you're a major league asshole.

Just picked up a couple of nice vintage fuzz-wahs.

Rosac Nu-Fuzz-Wah. It's a Fuzzrite + wah (although the module looks a bit different from the standard Sprague module in Fuzzrites and my Foxey Ladies).
1969 pot codes.
Cleaned the pots and the switch --> Killer fuzz. Sounds different to my Fuzzrites. Here lies Black Keys noises.
Kinda iffy inductorless wah, more like a tone control.

Foxx Fuzz-Wah-Volume -- DoA, but all that was wrong with it was the battery snap wasn't connected properly. 30s w/ soldering iron, a bit of a pot clean (and a vacuum, whose bright idea was it to cover a pedal in student-flat carpet?) and it's awesome. Not a bad wah either for a change. TDK inductor, same as the Californian Thomas-Organ/Vox wahs.
72ish? Can't see any pot date codes or anything else to determine the age.

The switch placement is kinda a pain though, because the volume pedal function has toe-down as minimum volume, so it's easy to silence the pedal when you hit the fuzz stomp switch.StopReferencing wrote:Those Foxx's are gooooood.
Other than that (and the barf-covered carpet), it sure sounds great.

I had one. Loved it and regret selling it to this day.

Disable the volume function.

I thought it was okay compared to the old ones. I'd get Creepy Brad to make you one with footswitchable octave before going the reissue route.

Different strokes. I wasn't a fan of how the volume function sounded, let alone the direction in which it operated.
