So i have a les paul i've setup in c with 10s and after top wrapping, it feels fine tension wise(better than my maton setup with 12s with a longer scale from memory) but i've noticed it can't hold tune for shit. Maybe i'm just spoiled by having great tuning in standard but Is this just something i have to live with or would upping a string size or two help? :idk:

um, well, a few things;

grease your nut (it is mind boggling how much difference this makes)
your machine heads may be shit. grovers are rad.
10 seems a little light for c. I use 11's for c, but hey, nothing is forbidden, everything is Permitted!
