Hellz yeah it is!
I'll be there. Which stage was Canyons of Static on again?
I've got to be honest though, I plan to get to the Flaming Lips' stage roughly 2 hours early so I can get as close as possible. I'm not kidding, I don't know if I've ever been this pumped for a concert ever. Maybe Beck w/ MGMT, but that's not important.

Awesome, I saw them the other week and it was rad, are they doing the soft bulletin set.
Also being near the front of a flaming lips experience is like nothing else. It's the equivalent of being punched in the face with confetti and lasers.

Cascio stage... We will be done by 8:30 plenty of time to hit up the Harley stage and get a good place for flaming lips!

SOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo, Ross, who's the hottie on the keys?
Flaming Lips ruled. They played Pompeii am Gotterdamerung which is my favorite Flaming Lips song and I never thought they would play it live. I was surprised how much off of Embryonic they had on the set list. All good stuff though, The Sparrow Looks Up at the Machine, Worm Mountain, See The Leaves, The Ego's Last Stand, and others.
Only bad thing was some douche who showed up minutes before the show started and said he had been saving this spot(fifth row a bit stage left) for four hours when we have been there for two and hadn't seen him once. The guy who claimed was saving the spot had moved to another spot the row in front. I was kinda drunk and quite pissed. I was close to going ballistic on this guy's face with my fist and I'm neither an angry person, nor a violent person, nor someone who appears to be intimidating in any way. This guy probably weighed almost 100lbs more than me, but I can tell you, if I had snapped, his face would have been fucked royally and I probably would've spent the night in jail, lol. That's how much this show meant to me, I'm super serial guys. One nice thing that came of it was that I spent much of the show crammed between my female friend(who is meh) and her friend(who is super cute).
And Canyons of Static sounded really good. Even my friend who is not really into that sort of thing thought it was great. She just said she wished you guys would have "looked up more often." lol, Post-rock just doesn't seem to gel with the festival atmosphere so well. It's more of a small, indoor venue kind of thing, but that's just my opinion.

My wife.....!
While I agree we go over much better in a dark room with a bunch of people crowded together I was told by the guy who runs the stage that we drew the most people for that stage yet at the fest!!! Long live weirdo instrumental music at a lameo butt-rock fest!!!
We also sold enough CDs to pay for mastering which is a huge victory for us

I'm pretty sure that I was immediately behind whoever filmed this.
