That pedal board looks like a professional and smaller version of the one I rigged up from an old CD case; looks nice :thumb:

Flanger Hoax, maybe, but I've heard it's not too good for bass

Throw crazy modulation pedal names at me.

A vibe, fuzz and wah and delay.

But I'm boring/simple.

I've always been curious about wah pedals, but Ithey all seem so variable I wouldn't know where to start.
& I'd really like a deluxe memory boy with an expression pedal, that could get me some sweet/trippy sounds.

I use the Ernie ball wah. I'm a huge fan. It's got a massive sweep. Sounds greet clean. Sounds throaty and fucking gnarly when it's after a fuzz.

I'd only trade it/get rid of it for a wilson wah. Deluxe memory boy is kin folk to the memory man--what I use. Love it.

The fuzz, vibe, wah, delay combo can really get you a lot of (usable) sounds. I dont know exactly what you're going after but I certainly have a ton of fun messing with that stuff.

Every tried the EB on bass? I like the idea of a wah for the expressivness. I guess I want to make atmospheric strangeness, "shifting" or "rolling" notes, flangers and phasers kind of do this but I haven't found many I've liked, might spring for a Flager Hoax if I can get one at a good price. & the pitch shifting the deluxe memory boy can do it making me want it more and more, but that's another one I want to find used.

The Street Sweeper looks so damn cool, I'm definitely keeping my eyes on that. Mind Warp hasn't impressed me from demos and the mxr flanger has too much of that metallic sound for my taste. I need to check out more of Copilot's stuff for sure.

oh, sorry, i was thinking guitar...i forgot that you were asking about bass stuff. the MXR would be weird on bass, certainly. for bass i think a Uni-Vibe style thing combined with some kind of cavernous delay would be tits.

I had one, it was indeed an awesome pedal feature wise, but I let it go because it I didn't really like the chorus sound and it was worth enough to get something else. I wouldn't mind having one back, but it's not something I'd hunt for, unless there were some expression pedal input to control some of the knobs, or even manually sweep the effect like the street sweeper. I really really liked having slight square wave modulation, slow rate and about half animation.

DAMN IT. I WANT IT ALL.

Yeah, I've been wanting to try out a Pareidolia pretty bad, I just wish it didn't have the damn tremolo effect. & I really don't dig delay much, but I'd totally go for a deluxe memory boy for the modulation. My Hall of Fame is pretty good at the cavernous thing. Dark Hall is my favorite.

How about the Jack Deville Mod Zero? I think they look pretty cool, but I have yet to bite the bullet on one. They seem to be available for $175-180 used pretty frequently, which might be cause for concern, or maybe people are just being fickle.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

The mod zero seems to swirly for me, but I haven't heard that many demos to be honest.

I contacted someone on hcfx about a flanger hoax, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Fingers crossed.
