First timer here in awe of your boards (this is the best taste forum I've seen!). I'm thinking of adding a Ring Thing when funds allow - any suggestions as to placement? Also got to get expression pedals for that and the DMB...

Your pedalboard goes from huge to SCARY HUGE in two effects loops.
Hows the Deluxe Memory Boy? I tried a regular Boy today, and wasn't impressed.

I love my ring thing, and I would suggest using it before or after all fuzz, because in my experience it has a wierd treble boost associated with it if stacked thusly fuzz>ringthing>fuzz but it is all kinds of amazing and I can't recommend it enough, super versatile and polyphonic. I can't get enough of the awesome pitch-shifted vibrato sounds. And your board is a sprawling metropolis of pedals that I can't quite stop looking at

Thanks that sounds like good advice and the RT is staying on my GAS list! The polyphonic whammying will probably be a plus for me (missing the whammy I sold). Trying to get a board I'm happy with in the last months of freedom before proposing to my girl :thumb:

The 2 loops are what I'm all about :!!!: - but between the Chk Chk Boom and GR2 there is a lot of potential for hearing (and speaker) loss!

The Deluxe Memory Boy is endless fun - gets overpowering if you don't go easy on the blend knob and oscillates ridiculously easily. The modulation and the step sequence mode thing are both nuts and I haven't even tried an expression pedal yet. The basic sound makes everything feel warm and cuddly, but I've never tried another analogue delay to compare it too. As you probably know its very limited in terms of delay time and clarity compared to something digital like the DL-8

In defence of ehx, I would say that they provide a great range of choice for guys on a budget like me + make their shit go over the top :animal:

Ahhh you're in the U.K. I thought it was funny you had Blackstar amps, good choice :thumb: I was thinking of that HT-1 for practice when I have zie cash.

And EHX  other than there... slight quality control issues.

Now you appear to own several of the pedals I covet, gimme :poke:

i kinda hate EHX. but i think i project an Electronics Butt Fucking Field that only finds EHX pedals and computer printers sexy. i know a lot of folks have good luck with them, but besides the Freeze (fun little bugger) i've had everything else of theirs that i owned die a pitiful, mewling kitten death. i think like 6 or 7. so..... yeah. fuck EHX.

but that's just me.

and the Bass Big Muff? SHITTIEST FUCKING BASS FUZZ EVER.
