I keep debating about buying one of the next batch to do just that. I figure I could just return it after doing a comparison (unless, of course, it blows me away).

Thanks to a fellow ILFer I've had a snowdrift for a week or so. Easily one of the coolest paint-jobs I have, I only wish I used the first stage more because 99% of the time if it's on it's on BLIZZARD and the walls are falling down.

And yet, when I bring down the volume I get all the glitchy goodness of like a Wolf CPU, just motorboating on into infinity.

Oh, I made this:

The second mode sounds better in person (well, so does the whole pedal).
Plays with other pedals like a champ.

Saw that.. still breaks my heart every time I go on that page and realise I can't afford one at the moment.
I really hope they keep making them well into next year :poke:

Thought I'd be slaughtered for it, this was pretty mild. I can't help it, I don't like most of what she does. The black and white one from the last batch was alright and that special skinpimp run even had a few that I liked but most of the time I just can't see myself holding a pedal dear that is done by Laura Bennett. Dude, I was pretty early this time and I think only one or two had gone when I found them but I just didn't like any. I like clearer stuff. ss/bs pedals for example  or most of aen's pedals. Or these newer runs of Velcroars. Guess I'm just a snobbish graphic-lover.

Well, actually, I appreciate your opinion. We all love fuzz.

I don't care for the Bennett art either, but many people like it. That is why I had Fuzzhugger build me a Snowflake with a custom graphic that was a bit more to my taste.

Oh, yes, that's sweet!
Is it like the FP? Actually I am inclined to get a snowdrift rather than a snowflake. But this is pretty. I can't help it, I do love fuzz but I also love pretty things. Maybe I should just hit Newark Wilder up once I really made my mind up about getting one.

The Snowflake and the Fingerprint are supposed to be the same and of course the builder will be the same whether you get the Snowflake or Snowdrift.

I've only owned the Snowflake and only since yesterday. Sounds pretty darned good to me. I have never owned a Fingerprint or a Snowdrift.
