That my band's album is almost done [god this has been taking a long time], that despite working brutally through the weekend I still did well at last nights rehearsal, that I am having a cool used guitar being shipped from Japan

After 10 months I'm FINALLY almost done refinishing my bass. Tomorrow I'll coat it one more time and then it'll hang for a month before the final steps.
There were a lot of setbacks and I probably spent more on materials and parts than if I had just sent it off to someone to do it for me, but I learned a lot about refinishing in general and it's pretty interesting. So the monetary aspect doesn't bother me.
