Eh, seems a bit selfish for one person to have 50% of them, but then again i'm prolly just jealous :joy:

There are 4 different color schemes but there were more than four in the first batch. Mine is #8 for example. I agree though, I dont really see the point in buying two without any prior use of the pedal... but whatever floats peoples boat you know. That said, I may very well end up buying another one at some point down the line as a gift.

Anyway, mine came today! :yay: :yay: :yay: It's the white and green one pictured on the site and I am absolutely LOVING it. Great work all around Newark, Laura, Tom & Julie.

The inside of this monster is a thing of beauty, just like the outside. /swoon

I thought there were about 60 in the first batch.. I could be way off though. I originally just bought the pink one, but decided to spring for a green one as well - had to sell off a timmy to fund it, but I think it was well worth the price :yay:

One of the reasons I snagged a second, is because I was anticipating slightly different toanz from each. Past high quality fuzzes I've bought (namely from skreddy) have differed significantly within the same model (e.g. zero, ernie, etc). Honestly, I think both the snowdrifts I received sound exactly alike, so +1 for consistency.

Overally these are way high quality fuzz boxes that righteously deliver the brutalz and uniqueness not found in standard muff or ff clones.

Received the two beauties today! Hands down the best looking pedals I've seen in my life. Congratulations Mike, Laura, Julie and Tom!! It's always a pleasure to spend money on items of such obvious value.

Just one question: pedals are numbered, aren't they? I've seen people here mentioning the number they got. Is there any inscription in the pedal so I can know mine? (i'm always a sucker for those details).

EDIT: I finally found where the number is. The pedal is a beauty even at circuit level.

The one with scheme number #3 (orange) is number 9, but the one with scheme #4 (blue) has no number at all. Did those go unnumbered or something?

Hi Newark, I'm back from playing the pedals with my bandmates for the first time. The expectations after all this time were absurdly high and we were prepared for a dissapointment of some level , but I have to say those have been met and then surpassed WITH A VENGEANCE!

I'm speechless, really. I said it before when I heard your youtube demo but now I'm sure: this is the way I always expected guitars to sound like 10 years ago when I first plugged one into an amp. The frustrations are finally gone. The guitar is fun again. EPIC achievement, man.

You gotta be out of your mind if you think I'm gonna send the pedal back just because it has no number written on the lid  . The other guitar dude in my band grabbed it and said he's returning it when you take it from his cold, dead hands.

So I guess it will remain that way.

Congratulations again, Mike.

THANKS AGAIN!

Laura will be painting batch two starting this week. :)

ishtar--we can tell you which number you have. It's either one up or one down from your other. We'll check and let you know.

Hey Newark, it's just what you said. Some people have certain aesthetic on their guitar playing that simply can't be achieved with regular fuzz. And that style sure guarantees a long and unsatisfying search. It's easy to try lots of different units and become frustrated ( i can say I tried everything that promised to fit and while sometimes I got a kind of an approximation, i always felt there was something beyond that, more beautiful, messier and unpredictable). Your pedal fulfills an idea of sound, definitely. Something abstract turning into concrete.

You searched for the sound, found it, and then busted ass to bring it out to the rest of us who happened to be searching for the same. A problem solved. Hats off indeed.

For people with blues-rock aspirations or something like that, yeah, maybe it's a noisemaker, but for the kind of person with the aesthetic I mentioned earlier, this is a pedal to simply praise till you drop. I'm certainly one of those dudes, and if you consider how fast this batch sold out, you can be sure I'm far from the only one.

So keep it up, man! I'll be sure to check out what Secret Seasons is doing in the future.
