Two Ct5s in a stereo setup as Ct10 would be amazing!

I have a CT5 and a Nightly Firmware CT5 and they indeed amaze in stereo scenarios.

Also allows for Mode3 shenanigans where you start recording one and then at some interval start recording the second and then stop recording the first and... et ceter into incinerate.

Timing is an issue if you don't, you know, count to tempos.

Big time late but happy CT5 10th anniversary!

I don't think I ever shared this here, but Count to 5 was a centerpiece for this drone/loop/synth bath album I put together awhile back. An ode to how much I enjoy counting my fives.

Lil Count to Ten action in this pedalboard pic I dug up. Here's to pitch delay shiftin and loop souping for another 10. :excellent:

I believe I am, I don't think I've hooked these up to a computer ever. Green one is a newer rev than the blue one. After reading this thread a bit the other day I was like "damn I should probably take a peek at those..." I completely forget about the flexibility/updates of digital gear.

Hello everyone!
First post here, just became owner of a 2nd hand CT5.
Previous owner reported it as a k and, before selling, downgraded the firmware to 971 from the Nightfly he had previously installed.
Turns out that:
1) pedal is l version (but this shouldn't matter, should it?)
2) THE MIX KNOB DOES NOT DO 100% DRY WHEN FULLY CCW.
Is the mix knob behavior correct for the actual fw rev?
If not, what can I do?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Gabe

So you opened the back of the pedal to look at the circuitboard to see that it is Revision l (as in L)?
What the pedal can do is determined by the version. But most versions within a certain range can be updated/changed to the most recent firmware or the Nightly firmware (and they can be turned back from Nightly to the most recent firmware, etc.).

So it depends on whether you have a Windows computer and a USB A to USB mini B cable and some patience.

You can check out the mtl.asm manual.
https://mtlasm.blogspot.com/p/count-to- ... mware.html

At the top of that page is a link that tells you how to update/change the firmware (best if you have a Windows computer):
http://mtlasm.blogspot.com/p/count.html

And there is also a link that describes the various CT5 versions:

Hi,

The board revision does not matter regarding 100% wet/dry. Neither does the fw.

You can email support@mtlasm.com and we can sort out a repair for you.
