No YouTube embed to make strange bedfellows?

The Youtube embed will be fixed.

With php, sql, etc. changing, and things like flash being dead, some old bbcodes no longer work properly (or in all browsers), or are security risks, or are dead.

I've added a mod that allows you to simply paste a URL or use the Media button (screen icon), and the content—including YouTube links—will be embedded (if compatible).

I'm hoping to strip instances of the old "[youtube]" bbcode so those videos appear embedded again.

I think some ILFer mentioned the idea of having some type of fundraiser merch to help keep the hamsters trilling and thrilling in their walkabout plastic spheres.

Seems like a great idea (despite that even that in itself also requires time and organizational effort and chutzpah).

In any event. All the effort to get ILF ilfing again is much appreciated!

merch is a great idea, but we should consider regular contributions as well. I was shocked when Tom told me on Facebook how little he gets in the way of support. for heck's sake, it shouldn't cost him money to keep us housed. x dollars a month would be a good way to go.

i note for the record that the "log me in automatically on each visit" feature now works 95% of the time, which is really nice when i just want to check in for a minute.
