I'm trying to figure out how Corrupted got their unholy guitar tone. I would love if I could figure out what gear they used and start saving up to purchase it or to find cheaper alternatives. I especially want to capture their early 90s tone like so:

Here are the best images I could scrounge up. They were a very reclusive band and unfortunately all their pictures are very pixelated.
As far as I can tell, the guitar head is a Marshall JCM 900 50 Watt Head. Not sure on what variation, but I think it's either a MKIII or Hi Gain Dual Reverb. I don't see the bold SLX lettering, so I'm guessing it wasn't that, although again, the pictures are very pixelated. Not sure about the pedals except one of them looks like either a Boss Metal Zone or HM-2. Whichever it is, it's probably being used as a boost. Any help on suggesting what the head and pedals are, or what would would be some great alternatives to a JCM 900 (they're not cheap these days) would be great.
