There's a certain smeariness to some of the settings I'm finding very attractive - sort of a middle ground between standard and reverse delay....

Yes, that's what i heard too, it seems like there's some sort of warmness around the repeats, don't know if it's just the settings of the demos, but i watched two different videos and heard it in both, maybe it's just a well calibrated filter - i found out the tone control on this kind of devices is really fundamental to my taste.

The TR2 is LOOOOOOOOONG overdue for an update that encompasses all the options on the PN2.

Well, now the urge to try one out is doubled.
Let me know if the hype you're feeling right now stays intact in the next days or if it quiets down once you have compared it with other similar effects (Particle on similar settings etc :poke: :cool: )

Totally different than the Particle. The Particle is more granular and in some ways more programmable/more options. They are both killer, among the best of the best I've tried.
