Yeah, all you anxious people should just put forth the 30 dollars to build a FP clone, until the Snowflake comes out, until the Snowdrift comes out.

30 dollars spent on stuff I have to solder are 30 dollars right into the thrashcan. I am that clumsy.

No problem at all with waiting, really. It's been months since it began and nobody stays anxious for that long. I just want to get my joke on while it drags on.

Nope it's a BYO Fingerprint kit. The fingerprint has been renamed the Snowflake for these purposes.

I've got a handful of money and a clean spot on my board, waiting for the Snowdrift. Good to hear that it's close.

Good to hear you are doing fine, Newark. Family stuff can definitely be a hurdle on anyone's productivity . But I think the
perserverance is gonna pay in spades when the release finally comes. Good luck! :thumb:

Give him a little more time. I know, it sucks. Honestly I was hoping to have this one months ago myself but hey, it is what it is at this point. I'm not holding my breath any more considering the first batch will probably be gone before I even know about it and who knows how long for the second batch or third to hit after that... In a way this is almost eerily similar to the song and dance I went through with Penny Pedals right before he disappeared. Who knows, maybe at some point it will be cool for the FP circuit to be open game amongst builders(imagine a Dwarfcraft FP w/ Shiva controls :omg: )

Until then it looks like we've all gotta remain patient and wait a bit more for this one. I still think it's a pedal that's very much worth that wait but personally I can only say I had money set aside for this for a long time but fact is there's other options here and now and I can manage to hold off.

I definitely think you should check out the Crush Fuzz thread that just went up tho. Sounds quite like (if not very close to) a FP but with it's own flavor and only 60 bucks and available now. Can't really go wrong there.
