Y'all QPAS is absolutely amazing and if anyone is on the fence I 100% suggest you unstradle that fence post and hop on over to the greener pastures.
I spent the first 45 minutes just messing around with the Morphagene as a sound source, playing with different filter outs, and it brings life to loops and microsounds. Using the CV out of the Morphagene with a drum loop to control the input level to the QPAS is absolute magic, turning normal drums into highly resonant swatches, or even steel drum type sounds.
It also works incredibly well self-patched, and with regular synth stuff as a sound source. I made a slowly evolving patch with R2 at its core, everything processed thru the QPAS, and got everything from techno to video game sounds, and I left my synth for the evening longing for more. This is definitely the piece of kit I've been waiting for. Already spiced up one of my songs with some outboard QPASing, and you bet there's gonna be more of that to come.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

Bismuth looks NIFTY. i... don't know.... about all that COLOR though.

FUCK THE QPAS. NO MORE NEW LUSTIES PLEASE.

murf. gonna list the Eloquencer. it's cool, but it's like a euro version of how i use the Deluge and i like the Deluge interface way better.

going back to the FLXS and Varigate. i misssssed the random program start point, arps per step and weird step modulation options on FLXS'y.

So I'm thinking about listing the rest of my modular. I keep downsizing and still I never use it. At this point, I think I might keep my HEK and a couple modules to build a weird FX and modulation rack, but there's no point having two Mother 32s that I never use.

also, jebus. i might have a Controller Acquisition Problem. haven't had time to more than tickle the Tiranas and Grid, got a Klee coming in.

and, as much fun as i'm having with the Donuts, it makes me want not just a complex euro oscillator, but the COMPLEXIST euro oscillator.

so. have a Shapeshifter coming as well.

I love Shapeshifter, it’s one of the modules that I still have from the beginning with eurorack gear. I think Shapeshifter and my Linix are the only two modules I’ve never flipped, knock on wood! Shapeshifter is also a great modulation source when you aren’t using it as an osc.
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.

lol. have either been working on something to play with it THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN or just too burnt to set loots back up. soon?

Barns - yah. moof. first things i ordered when entering euro's Big Sexy Bum Pack was a Shapeshifter, Wasp i think? some other stuff.... but no VCAs, no envelopes no sequencings.... messy.

so. SUPER looking forward to having one again.

also, want a good, useful, yet simple quantizer for the Klee? Scales looks neat, but wayyyy too much going on there. i don't realllly want to grab ANOTHER FUCKING U_OC, but i guess that might be smartest? and i like the Pemrose, but i wanted something that will have scale selection.

10 hp or under would be preferable, dual would be optimal.

the Doepfer one is chromatic the first side, scale selectable the second?

moop?

I have almost pulled the trigger at the Shapeshifter a bunch of times and look forward to your review.

The reason I always stop short of pulling the trigger directly in the face of the Shapeshifter is that it seems too fuckin' fiddly with all its features and buttons and menus and etc.

Additionally, I already rock a wavetable osc (Piston Honda mark 2) and feel the Shapeshifter would overlap too greatly with that fantastic oscillator.

Lastly, it is difficult not to shoot the Shapeshifter in the eyeball because used prices are becoming highly reasonable for this oscillator.

Post-script: If I were to pull the trigger on a more complex osc than what I already rock it would likely be the Akemie's Castle despite the fact that it's fuckin' huge.
