Guys! GUYS!

It has occurred to me that lately, meaning the last like 6 months or more ILF has kind of been slowing down. Is it because we are all doing different stuff? Is because we tire of fighting against bots, scammers, flippers and spammers? Is it because we don't desire each other anymore and secretly spite each other and want to punch each other in the faces? Or is it simply that I'm making all this up and bro love is on the rise?

No. Nay I say! NAY! Bro love is dying! Gunner coming back and doing a sale and you know he's the kind of guy that's a bro, just made me all fucking sad. Goddamn it ILF! What happened to the love of fuzz? The talks yestermorrow's news?

What's up with the love?

What's up with the love?

Does anyone one like feel what I'm saying at all though? Like....for real?

:erm: Forums are so last year. They were even "so last year" last year. Other social media platforms are preferred these days.

In summary, forums on their way out & other media on the way in. :idk:

ILF is my only contact with any like-minded music breauxs. Social media is shit. Long live the forum.

There's still a core corps spamming nonsense around the place. I don't think I've been posting much about pedals though

Forums are very old hat now but I like the community feel and the lack of like buttons and notifications and all the trappings of modern social media

Can't speak for anyone else but I'm super busy and the pedal universe isn't doing a whole lot for me at the moment.

Yeah. I'm making a bunch of music with the pedals I have. And this is good. Nothing is super exciting at the moment

I left the pedge game for a while and came back to like, crazy modular setups and super high end glitch pedal demos shot with professional A/V gear.
My love will always be with the blown-out 2007 camera phone demo of a nasty, cheaper fuzz.
There's nothing wrong with the former, it's just not a world I can relate to.

I think it was but that was years ago! ;)

Why does it all have to be about glitch and modular? If you guys don't like that shit, let us rap about fuzz. :) There's ALWAYS new fuzz pedals.

I went through the whole glitch thing too. I currently do own a glitch pedal that was pretty fucking expensive, but I use it for doom metal....soooo...does that even count? lol

Also, I know I sound like kind of a prick here, but this is actually how I feel about most of the pedal community these days.

"I feel like some people sat in a room and tried to think of a way to grab all the cork sniffing hipsters in one go. Their solution was this pedal. Everything about this pedal wreaks of commercialism as well as personifying the hype machine at its worst. Fucking 300 bucks for a goddamn rat clone. Are people fucking high? Do they really think it's going to be better than the ones you can get for 40-50? I don't. It's all made from the same cheap Chinese shit. God this brand angers me. It's so shallow and pretentious I want to beat it to death. I feel like I'd have to fart in a champagne glass and smell my farts before I could own one of those.

Actually I'm getting sick of all hipster brands. There's a lot of them. Hipsters are like hippies except for not cool. So, I'm boycotting you fucks! You fake ass bitches!"

What I mean is that people are now making stuff that is just a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. Or who can make the latest thing that sounds like a fart machine!

We got mad amounts of weird unusable shit (no offense guys but it's true) and I think it's because we all were so goddamn bored with the norm. So we have always sought out those abnormal builders. ILF right? It seems like all the cool builders are charging way too much for most ILF peps or we can't get the pedals because like flippers buy them all and then they go into oblivion or we are all so disgusted by it we don't even want to try the pedals.

The site is something I think that can survive Social Media. We just need to say "eat my asshole Facebook" "go to hell Twitter and Instagram"! Well, or at least make a valiant effort to love here still.

I'm not playing music nearly as much as I used to; I've had writer's block for years now and don't see the need to use pedals nearly as much (not that I was going ham with them in the first place). It doesn't help that I also need to work longer hours and am more interested in other hobbies that my friends also share.
