Probably less hype on UK Ebay. Either way, now we don't have to hear about it.....until he posts it on Reverb for $900 :p

@worra, guys like you are the reason so many "nice" people don't want to a part of this community! I have talked to and dealt with so many people on reverb that are members here but don't come here anymore because of the bullshit attitudes, the hypocrisy, the entitlement, the judgement, you don't know me, you'd like to make all sorts of assumptions and talk shit, you guys don't even give anyone a chance. Could you just try and be "nice"? Not assume things? Not be an ass? Good luck with life "keyboard warrior"! Talk all the shit you want, I'm out, I don't need nor want to play with you all. FUCK I LOVE FUZZ! P.S. I actually hate fuzz, LOL!

You're the guy selling a Bakvendt for $900 on Reverb. Those pedals were made for this community for under $200. Its not surprising that the forum resents people who take advantage of the kindness of folks here like that.

He's not wrong you know. This is a frequent complaint by new users and then a bunch of people complain that ilf userbase is shrinking. Don't be assholes y'all. If someone has pricing you don't agree with. Don't buy it. Or maybe discuss it with them.

shortfuse wrote:I priced that at $900 after coming here offering up several pedals in trade for a FORM2, only to talk with multiple members, one being worra who said he would sell me his for $2500 and another member who wanted $1100 when the most one has ever sold for was $800, fuck you guys and your hypocrisy, it's bullshit.

I mean, I'm not sure whether you realize that those weren't genuine prices or not?
It wasn't really hypocrisy as much as it was just them telling you to fuck off. :idk:

Also, I think it's worth noting that you're condemning all of ILF because a handful of members aren't responding well to you.
Feel free to leave and talk shit about us on Reddit or Facebook or whatever, but there is an ignore function on the site for members you don't want to interact with. :poke:

I appreciate not naming me, but I'm the $1100 guy. I wasn't telling him to "fuck off" as much as I wasn't willing to give the ILF buddy price to a new member, plus I wanted get paid for the 3 days of labor I put into the handpainted and resined custom finish and the price of export to the US. I get why you'd go "aw hell nah dawg", I probably would as well. When you remove the price of the latter two (finish and export) the pedal would be less than the most expensive one sold for on reverb. That being said, I feel like we had a constructive exchange of PMs both prior and after the price got put into the equation, so, yeah, while not the best introduction to ILF perhaps, I definitely wasn't telling you to fuck off. You got your pedal at a good price now anyways, so jokes on us?

Speaking of growing up, though, I would think that someone who isn't interested in being a part of the community beyond buying rare pedals and (mostly) selling them elsewhere might understand why the community is reticent to offer friends and fiends pricing on those pedals.. :idk:

But did you ask for fiend pricing?

As an aside, the competition for most apt username 2019 is certainly looking a lock.

I can see why you're annoyed about this pedal situation. I can see why an interaction like that would put you off hanging out here.

But it's rude to insult the whole board for something that happened between you and a couple of people. :idk:
