makes this seem very intriguing to me. I'd love to see more demos that really dig into that aspect of sound layering and sonic chicanery.

I wonder how the multiswitch plus differs from the standard multiswitch, aside from the extra jacks and LEDs. The standard was really cheap and easy to DIY. The multiswitch plus looks to be passive (the LEDs seem to get power from the main pedal), so it would probably be easy to DIY too.

Agreed about PT2399, not my favorite sound. Had no idea Marcello was charging that much nowadays, last I knew it was just over $2k. I could see paying a decent amount for something like that if it is that important to someone. I love delay and big obnoxious boxes, but I could never bring myself to spend that much on one. I would have to sell everything but my guitar and one amp to justify a purchase like that, and I don't think it would be worth it. I am curios to see what T.Rex does though.

The demo is listened to of the boonar was really good sounding.

I'm italian, buying a pedal called Enzo was already hard enough to swallow, but I can't stand the sight of this logo.
Why would you call a pedal "steering wheel"?
Ok echorecs had a spinning disc, so it's an adjective, but it's s like it's called strymon flying... yeah, flying what?
Please guys change my mind, give me a reason I can't see or even make one up, cos this pedal seems pretty good now that the dust has somehow settled.
Even the pricing doesn't seem that bad after all.
I'm not really into the strymon sound, but I'll give it a try if I can find one in a shop.

ps: I second echorec's idea on the gurus. I never understood the hype around these pedals, they were just ok. The 7e is definitely better sounding , but it's crazily priced. Also it seems the company is kinda sinking, unfortunately for them.
Ps2: the boonar is pretty good indeed

Just ignore the name? I dunno. Put tape on it? Scratch it off with some sand paper (it comes off their pedal pretty easily).

Other than that, I dunno. LOL. The color is what kills me. It's really ugly IMO. Whatevs though.

Paint it purple and apply tramp-stamp temporary tattoos to get over the name? :idk:

HA! sometimes the solution is right there in front of you and you just can't see it.
A purple sanded off strymon. I might even win the ilf contest

Totally agree on the Enzo name thing.
Volante is not that bad after all! Technically speaking it could also mean "flying", though it lacks an object.
Thay could have named it flying potato.

Just beat on it a little. It'll look like something off a Willys MB

Just think of the name "Volante" as a combination vole and ant.

Or maybe the name is to encourage you to bet on your tone.
Add a Volante delay and you raise the ante on your vol(ume).

Strymon is the name of a river in ancient Greece. So perhaps this pedal is a flying river (reverse waterfall).
Jump right in, the water's fine!

To be true "Volante" in Italian is also a common way to refer to police cars.
The mistery of this name is getting darker..

Aha! Which must mean that the Volante will self-oscillate to give you that "police siren" sound.

I'm kinda schizoid in my reactions to the Strymonz, but that is some nice functionality.
