They were superb. Obviously didn't play some of the more keyboard/atmospheric stuff, but they really brought the rock.

High on Fire in January. Not a huge fan but I would check it out if we don't have like an icy tundra thing going on.

Terry Riley was a hoot tonight... lots of notes, a bit exhausting!

There was an intermission listed in the programme but T.R., his son Gyan + Tracy Silverman just kept going for about 2 hours.

It wasn't all gold... there was a boogie-woogie piece that could have been anyone's grand-dad at the jazz bar on a Sunday afternoon. And it was a bit comforting to see that Terry Riley likes to noodle away on ipad apps just like everyone else, even if the results weren't stellar. ("You have to be willing to fall on your face when you go out on stage," he said at the pre-show talk.)

The show was livestreamed and the link is still active right now: https://livestream.com/accounts/3811338/TerryRiley/videos/186015720

The RCM keeps some, but not of their all, of their livestreams archived, so I dunno if this will stay up up not, so maybe check it out now if you want to hear it.
