Nailed it. It's a Crochambeau Crustacean. I'm always trying to sound like Taylor Deupree or Marcus Fischer, but without actually getting into synths and proper sampling. It does great little electrical pops, crackles, and noise. I like that as a contrast with the real washed out other stuff I play.
