I was there today and I'm going tomorrow.

Cool, keep an eye out and say hi if you see me! I'll just be wandering around, but I'm 6'7" with a badge from a store here in GA, so probably won't be too hard to spot.

I played around with this and my HOF1 this morning. I do think I see the default settings listed in the library (not exactly sure as labeling is inconsistent) and they can be edited, but when I save to the pedal it just overwrites the toneprint. I need to play with it a little more to confirm, but it seems like we got excited for nothing...

I do see Flashback/x4 in the template list (which is how I understand you can edit the Alter Ego/x4) so if this does indeed work as we hope then you should be good!

Argh. Thanks for the note. I hope they update this. It's time for them to just release a workstation with deeper MIDI functionality, so you can create and save an entire pedal chain in one box.

Played an incredible tremolo today at SNAMM made by Flower Pedals? So complex and harmonically well-tuned. Very impressed and I'm a tremolo snob.

The OG Super Beatle was solid state, so I was expecting a Pathfinder successor. But Korg Nu Tubes--hmm. Strange.

Am I a total weirdo to have wanted a faithful solid state Super Beatle preamp with whatever chip power amp in that little head?

Wound up not playing many pedals, spent most of my time talking with small guitar/bass builders and resisting the urge to go broke forever to buy a guitar worth more than all the cars I've ever owned combined. I did check out the new Cusack reverb, seems like a ton of well-thought-out features for the size/price. Also saw some stuff I'd never seen before at the boutique stompbox booth, but wasn't willing to battle through the crowd + get ear mites to try them. I need to start bringing my own headphones.

For $100 more you could have a Meris Polymoon.
I don't know if it's just because the demo guy couldn't keep his fucking hands off of the knobs or what, but I just didn't really notice a distinct blending sound between the delay and the phaser mode, either.

No, that would have probably been a better idea

As for Nutubes...I dunno, I need to do more research. If the circuit utilizing them sounds good, that's great...but I can't help feel like someone spent a lot of time/money making a fancy transistor that lights up :idk:

BUT the Polymoon is DSP and they use those little spin chippies. :) lol

I think this is a dumb pedal. I'm so fucking tired of dumb pedals. There's too many.

The most exciting thing I've seen/played recently was the Reese Lightning. So, a fuzz. :)
