The Pulsar 23 feels like a Ciat-Lonbarde DIY Groovebox, but only because I was looking through some of CL's older designs with sandrode pegs the other day :)* ;)
But really I'm interested to see all the DIY'd jumble boxes that people cobble together for this, which actually makes me more excited than the Pulsar 23 itself (price withstanding, ahem) :excellent:

Do you think he put a bird shirt on, while knowing that he’d be demoing a bird-themed pedal, or was this some delightfully serendipitous experience? :snax:

Hungry Robot has unveiled their Modular site. The 13 initial devices currently range from $75-150. The most popular patchable floor/desktop units are supposed to be incorporated into a Eurorack range in the near future.

https://www.kororaaudio.com/products/spira

When we started working on the concept of a pedal effect based on a Shepard glissando, one of the first things we needed to decide was how many filters would be necessary (or ideal) in its parallel filter bank. This vision, fully realized in the Spira filter modulation pedal, led us to design for up to a maximum of 24 bandpass filters and a maximum slope of 18 dB per octave.

That’s a lot of processing, and we knew we needed a platform to deliver that kind of power with minimal latency. So we are excited to be debuting our FPGA signal processing platform, which makes Spira possible.

$299 street....

Hungry modular seems so cool but I feel like they're missing the boat a little. Modular people don't need pedals for stuff where there are a bunch of similar modules. So why target them? But pedal people do need more modular-ish pedals. But if you are targeting the pedal people it doesn't make sense to have your pedals operating at modular voltage levels. I guess these are filling a need for the semi-modular world. Just wish they came in 0-5v pedal-people versions. :?: :poke:

It does seem like a non-ideal compromise between two worlds, but we'll see I guess. :idk: I would like to hear the P5-inspired filter pedal though.

I would love the sending, but having both the dry signal also be affected by the preamp absolutely shits it for me. :idk:
