I'll probably never be cool enough for ILF 'cause I'll never stop buying cheap delays.
This one has some straightforward stuff that works (infinite clean delays) and some stuff that doesn't, though a lot of that is in the awesome-est way. Tweaking the time knob gives very "digital" wiggles, some of which are super glitchy. Twiddling with the time knob in the tape mode is very gnarly, sounds like a Wizard of Pitch or something like that. If that was on a boo-teek box with an expression pedal and a goofy name on the knob ("ELVENSONG") people would freak out.

It maintains note/chord definition without being ~t r a n s p a r e n t~ and has a really nice blooming growl to the notes that makes them all feel really muscular. On top of that it stacked super well on top of everything I threw at it, create amazing walls of noise. The tone controls are super super versatile, but the high can be a bit harsh on my P-90 equipped tele, can't wait to get my Parker out of the shop to try it with humbuckers. It's almost a must buy at $30, I'm pretty sure it'll cost you more to build.
