Nice! I've been seeing lots of Dunwich buzz lately on Instagram, pedal pics and gut shots all over the place.

To join in on the new amp day, in the solid state category, I got this yesterday:

This is like the caveman version of that VHT up there. Still playing with settings and trying to tame that Brite switch. :)

The brite switches on those can be tricky, but they're also the key to the extreme heaviosity. The main tricks are 1) don't even think about whether it sounds obnoxious unless you're playing full volume/full band (or however you arrange your tunes). 2) EQ, although you won't be able to dial out the skronk completely, nor do you want to. 3) dirt pedals, and 4) don't think about it because it's one of those presence things that drives you crazy when you first get an amp.

Deliverance is one of my favourite 'big' amps. If I were a gigging man I'd run one of the new ones with the FX loop and switchable gain stages. Super awesome sounds.

Also, hi everyone. Long time no see. Hope all is well with everyone and the flow of obnoxiously loud electrons are still flowing through the collective veins. I've not been paying much attention to gear in the last couple of years as I've grown attached to building PC's and life stuff has got in the way, but I'm still into my music and guitar.

Not much, mate. Still kickin' about. Gear has changed quite a bit (downsized a lot), but I'm still with my favourite amp the Fryette Memphis. Thinking of picking up one of the new Supro amps. I really love their chewy sound.

What's everyone using these days? What's their drug of choice? ;)

I'm still not a coffee drinker. Never have been. I feel like I'm missing out on something, but many of my friends are telling me it's not worth it. Those that drink it tend to rely on it so I think I'm good with water. What a pompous git I am. :p

Water is good.
Its been like 99% humidity here for the past few weeks and it wont storm to relieve the oppression, if you dont drink water all day your brain just shrivels and dies.

Coffee and nicotine is still de rigueur, even if I've totally switched to one of those super lame vapourizors. Weed is legal where I live now, which is nice, but in practice it's been exactly the same (since I don't smoke regularly) except more of my friends are growing.
good deals are here.

Yeah we just got medical Marijuana introduced as a concept and QLD lawmakers are having a real hard time drafting a set of regulations to make it work for people that need it, appease the AMA and make sure it wont offend the wowsers.
I'm of the opinion that if it was legalised tomorrow i still wouldnt rush out and buy a fucking pound. Like, a smoke is good but life goes on and is hectic.
The machine wont stop for 4.20.

As nice as that would be.
