It makes them feel like they are helping people AND providing a slave/untouchableclass/cheap labor pool that undermines the entire blue collar workforce to keep costs and wages down in comparison to cost of living and yet gives them more things to "fight against" and seem like they give a shit?

now *that* puts things into perspective. the democrats have adopted this elitist "everyone is welcome in our country but anyone who isn't a perfect liberal isn't welcome in our party ideology." and have no fix for it.

Well they extended the CHIP program for six years, so about 9 million poor kids will still have health insurance. That's not nothing.

And if the GOP decides to bail on the DACA the democrats can shut down the govt. Again. And the GOP won't have CHIP as a bargaining... crisp.
