Got a new pair of winter socks. Socks are gears, gauises! They are comfy and warm, but tragically not purple.

As long as you call them by their appropriate name, pedal warmers.

In the post (soon) is, unless I have a breakdown, my last pedal purchase of 2017 - a Rainbow Machine :)

What's the difference?

V1 was an agreeable pedal.

- Expression control over the big knob.

- No more bypass footswitch. It now functions more like a MASF Raptio (only when you engage your desired effect are the wet and dry knobs representative of what you'll hear)

"New" mode 1: Tap Tempo
- This is a single streamlined version of the four modes found on V1.
- The 4 different glitch modes from V1 are now all packed into 1! No need for two modes to remove the dry signal and no need for different modes for momentary and latching. A fast tap of the right switch gives you latching glitch, a longer press gives you momentary. Wet and Dry knobs set the desired levels for the stuttering effect. Think of it like a Raptio in glitch mode, but with tap tempo and optional latching mode.

New mode 2: Random Tempo
- Each time you engage the glitch effect you get a different sample lenght.
- Max random sample size is set by big knob.
- Left footswith adds pitch wobble and makes it degrade a bit more each time you press it.

New mode 3: GlitchoLay
- The Pitch Glitcholay patch from the Molecular pedals, adapted to Stamme[n].
- The big knob sets the rate at which the glitch changes and also increases the randomness of glitch occurrences.
- The left footswitch makes it feed into itself and adds an octave up that gets pitched up each time it feeds itself its own signal.

New mode 4: Tape Loop
- A tape loop, like the new patch David did for the Moleculars, only with no control for the sample length (locked at 1s), only the tape speed.
- The right footswitch engages the effect.
- Left footswitch loops the sample.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I love my v1 version but after hearing about mode 3 I might have to upgrade.

just brought home the ss/bs fuck, haven't had much time with it yet, but so far so good. need to take it to the band practice so i'll know how it interacts with a real amp and other people. i think i'll rearrenge my small home board for take away rocking situations now.
so i guess the weekend is pretty set, gonna have to find the perfect dirt combos with the fuck and figure out what else to put on there.
i was kinda set on using the bitquest for reverb (possibly the ringmod as not-that-ringmoddy reverb), but now i'm not so sure. i have other reverbs and feel like it might be a waste to use the bq as an always on reverb thingy.

anyways. i love rearranging pedalboards.

Octaver, Russian pork rind flavor:

The builder appears to have more positive feedback on Reverb now, and the price was more than reasonable.
