I was so excited to have some time to myself and play with the flex I didn’t even tune my bass. Listening back makes me cringe a little.

Dude, your giggles made my day! I went back and forth on what pedal you might like, so I hope you enjoy the Flex. I plugged it in to make sure it works and my wife thought I blew up my amp. Good times.

Even though your goodreads hadn’t been updated in a while, we have a lot of similar tastes in fiction. I’m a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and Neverwhere is a fun read. I gambled on whether or not you’d gotten around to Dorian Grey, so I’m glad the gamble paid off.

The CD is definitely not your style, nor is it jazz, but it is a radio station where my wife worked and their live broadcasts are always fun. There’s a bunch of Austin and Central Texas-area bands on that volume, including some buddies in The Oh Hellos and my favorite Austin’s artist Shakey Graves.

Fucking finally. I have a moment to myself. It's been super busy here at Jur-thrash-ic park, and apparently the Swedish postal service has also been super busy because they were lazy as shit in getting fkcnoise's ILFSS care package to me.
But it arrived, and it was glorious.

Knowing the quality of the coffee that Nils gets out of the coffee machine at his work place, I was more or less shocked to see some sort of crafty Ethiopian coffee, Ethiopian being my absolute favourite coffee.

Stroopwafels! YEAH!

This enormous biscuit thing, which while looking innocent enough is probably tied to some sort of racist Dutch tradition.

Swedish Christmas candy. This stuff is terrible, but everyone in my family thought I was the best dad ever when I was like "check it out dudes, it's a big pack. Go nuts!". So all in all, that was a win.

The best egg slicer I've ever received in an ILFSS

Then I got this cute picture of Vidret swimming with some buddies, framed in a CD case.

And that was about it.

Edit: Oh yeah, Nils sent some Vlokken, which we went crazy on. That shit was awesome, and if you can get a hold of some you should do it.

ducth coffee is still pretty shit, but I think it's mostly the way they make it. about 1/2 a scoop of coffee for each cubic meter of water is the ducth standard I believe.

I'm hype you liked the gifts and sorry for ruining your pedalboard plans

So this stuff looks legit as hell! The cookies are delicious, and the jam is going with the rest of the preserves (The dick magnet is firmly secured to the fridge already, where it will remain until we leave. I died when I opened it.

But then, the other stuff.
