I think like most things, we can acknowledge that many different kinds of things/people are bad...as long as we're doing that to hold them accountable and not to excuse or distract from some in favor of others. People bring up the "whataboutism" thing a lot lately, I think it's not a recent phenomenon at all and a common distraction technique for a lot of things. Bringing up other bad things in a discussion isn't necessarily that, just depends on what the point is. If it's "all politicians are corrupt and self serving...so let's vote them all out and start choosing our elected officials by different criteria" I'm down. If it's "all politicians are self serving and corrupt...so why bother holding any of them to a standard?" I'm not on board.

For some reason when I see the work libertarian in a post I read it as librarian, my brain does that with words some times.

I don't have a ton of issues with Warren, I don't think it's inconceivable however that if she has allowed people to promote her as native american (which is fine) that she also applied to college that way (which is also fine) It's not Meme worthy by any stretch but that doesn't really matter anymore.

Snopes is being called all lies by propaganda sites. It's sad how many people can't even discern what is real information and what is not anymore. A troll farm in Russia or China comes up with some nice propaganda targeted at a segment of the population deemed receptive, they get it reposted by shady news sites, then corporate media, mostly right wing, reposts it. It's sad how gullible people are.
