actually im talking about teh digitech metal master but now i will have to look into the arion one as well.hbombgraphics wrote:multi_s wrote:damn. i haven't played all the "metal" pedals so i am not an aficionado but the metal master is indeed pretty nice sounding.
and tbh i had to lay off the whammies for a while. i have not bought one yet in 2017.
kinda waiting for used prices to drop a bit more on the version 5s, then might get 1 more. They really are better than the version 4's though so i suspect that's why they still hold decent value. Also they use normal 9vdc power supplies which is great.
Arion Metal Master?????
Flipping love that pedal, If I missed it please forgive, but what kindof amp are you running it into?
i have 2 amps for the setup, the metal zone ge-10 chain goes into a sunn 200s/ampeg v4 cab and the metal master rando eq (and tuner ? ) goes into a yba-1a with a diyed 1x15 cab.
you sir are hired.Ghost Hip wrote:Used to annoy customers on break working at guitar center like this.

haha oh man. i should actually take an underside shot of my board or a close up of my cable management. shit is so neat and tidy. i spent hours dialing it all in when i first put my board together (which still hasn't changed...)

G&H solderless...kind of expensive but takes 30 seconds to build a cable, sound fantastic and ive yet to have one go bad!bacegchsbis wrote:Beautiful! What kind of cables are those?blackjaw wrote:
Dude, show us! i actually built my board around my power supply. so everything has to be where it is otherwise it wont even get power.blackjaw wrote:Dude, show us! Pedals, featuring the filthy rehearsal room carpet and a block of wood nailed to the floor (it used to stop a kick drum migrating around the room).
