Many thanks. Apedelay may take a little more time for exploration. Most of these apps are so easy to use. I could probably do a whole ambient album with this. Haha.
I'll investigate Cubasis and see if I need something like that or not. Probably just going to use the Ipad as another instrument. Super cool stuff :)
There's even an app for symphonic shit. Crazy.

Bought a cheap 1/4" to USB cable because of this thread. I don't expect much, but it would be cool to have an effect processor at home for those times I'm too lazy to drag my entire board back.

I’ve been looking hard at the iRig stomp Darcy just nabbed for this. Seems like it would be pretty handy in a number of situations.

An iPad is the centre of most of my music making these days so I thought that I would offer my thoughts.

AUM is absolutely essential, so much so that I can divide my music making with the iPad into Pre AUM and Post AUM eras.
Anything by Apesoft/Amazing Noises is great and pretty much every parameter in every one of their apps can be automated with LFOs. In my opinion Dedalus is more versatilel than ApeDelay, but they're very different and both worth having.
And as others have said Borderlands, Samplr, the AUFX bundle, and Fieldscaper are all brilliant for processing guitar or anything else.

Here are some short examples of some stuff I have made with my setup. All of these are just classical guitar and iPad, all improvised and all live with no prerecorded samples or loops. All played and recorded in AUM.

Lots going on here...a lot of Moebius Lab...I think...

All Borderlands I reckon.

I'll be honest, I can't remember where this noise came from...

OH shit! I forgot about Cyclop by Sugar Bytes! It's the nastiest noisest glitchiest synth, and it's designed for that. It just updated and it's so fucking good.
