Leaving this here so I can remember it exists

Alessandro Cortini talks about this book and it seems like everyone agrees its one of the defacto books on learning synthesis as a whole.

Yea I thought people were joking on the Muffs facebook thread when they said it was expensive. Or expensive was like $150. This thing puts college textbooks to shame.

I hate reading on the computer as well, but I'll find a way if it means I don't have to spend $300.

eh screw it, found one for $70 on ebay with a 25% off coupon. It's first edition so missing a lot of the pictures and patch examples but those are related to Moog mostly I believe. Didn't mind since 100% of the profits go to a charity organization for youth that are in foster care, out of school or homeless.

I've had the PDF of that book downloaded for forever and I still haven't really even looked at it. I would love a hard copy, but it's way too expensive

True bypass analog reading is the only way to go.

I need that gritty paper tone!

But seriously, I just printed out the Ornament and Crime manual so I don't have to look at my computer. (Definitely not abusing work printer privileges here...)

I print all the pdf manuals. Phone is too small for deep reading.

Probably have a Batumi+Poti and a Stillson Hammer mkii for sale/trade very soon if anyone is interested get in touch.

What should I get to fill in the rack on the left?

I'm trying to downsize this to 2 racks total (ideally two 208's, like the Intellijel performance racks) and I realized I need at least a solid 104 dedicated to those drum modules, and then another 104 for all my sequencers (the bottom rack).

Idk which voices I want to bring for potential gigs (lol) either. I love the Atlantis but it is so HP intensive that it really limits options. I'd love a rackmount reverb but I don't think it's "necessary" because I could just use one of my guitar pedals. I was thinking about a Just Friends but it kind of dumbfounds me (as opposed to my Maths which I am very comfortable with).

I thought about getting a second Ansible to go with Arc BUT I don't think I'll need another Ansible given how powerful Eloquencer is.

By the way, just got Eloquencer. Can't recommend this enough. It's like a standalone Elektron sequencer for Eurorack.

If you're trying to downsize, why are you asking about what more you could get?

If you really want to downsize, I would move your essential modules into that 208 case and the skiff and I'd try to focus on using only that for awhile. Try to figure out if you're missing any of your other modules or if there's anything that you don't really need.
