I'll add to the Ct5 suggestion pile. For general exploring fun, nothing else comes so immediately to mind.

I'd say Particle would be a close second for me, and certainly also love the Bitquest.

Nothing super specific but it doesn't look like you own any envelope controlled effects? I find one of those pedals goes a long way when you already have lots of pedals.
EXPENSIVE: WMD PROTOSTAR (in tandem with having lots of controls, and a great filter, this pedal has an fx loop and patch bay which makes it even more door opening)
'Comparatively' Inexpensive: Mid-Fi Clari(not)

Recovery Cutting Room Floor

Its a delay that has a modulation feature which will detune the repeats depending on picking dynamics, this is adjustable with sensitivity (from no detune, to slight, to lots). It can do weird tape warbles/vibrato-ish kind of sounds as well with the time set very short and sensitivity set all the way up, 2 modes which has a single repeat or multiple. When engaging the second footswitch on single repeat it will capture what you played and repeat it so you can make a lot of glitchy noises, with multiple repeats it does runaway feedback. I had a lot of fun with mine. Might have to get another.

^^I could have had one of those for around $130 via Craigslist and fairly close to me. I do "regret" not getting it as I am currently in process of impulsively buying a different analog delay to scratch that unfulfilled itch

That's what started my impulse buy kick. I wanted to find one of those for cheap. I spent most of Saturday evening watching vids of that pedal.

Get anything from Copilot.

(I've been on the copilot train for years, but just got some new stuff so that's all I'm thinking about right now).

For fun, synth-esque sounds, maybe check into the Syntax Error from Alexander.

I write better/cooler tunes on a uke than on anything else. Transpose them to guitar...simple to do, and it forces you out of kerrang-y habits.

Also: yes to Pitchfactor and Ct5. Those two and dirt could take you just about anywhere you want to go.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Something that pitch shifts. Count to Five, Super Wizard, Bitquest (i think?), Boss PS-6. Getting into pitch shifting really opens up a lot of sounds/textures and if you're into shoegaze/doom it seems like a great way to lose yourself in tweaking/sound.
