yeah, I was screwed over big time...glad yall acknowledged the fact, cuz its easy to get down on myself and say I didnt try harder...it was just plain fuckery community college deal. would have liked, or would still like to get into a field with nice steady pay & a smile...but the promise of a job, like they told us, didnt matter when their approach was awful,
first time they brought us into a studio it was like, "look but dont touch" "isnt it groovy" ..it was all paper work, thinking back they had us plug in like over 24 xlr and trs cables before using the computers..that was my hands on training there..lol...we made our own commercial...mine was somthing like a door creaks open and a voice asks "are you planning to take your life?, we can help, come by our assisted suicide center for info blah blah blah" lol....
I think I knew it wasnt going anywhere when the "instructor"hippy guy STANDS cross legged for 30 min explaining how to loop a cable nicely when cleaning up "see you flip it under and make a perfect circle, isnt that cool!?" this was 8 yrs ago when I was trying to find somthing to work towards, been to a few of these community colleges, and they were all a gigantic joke..let down after let down...somethings gotta happen, cha$ching$. ...just gonna start painting again, ugh!.

I genuinely wouldn't have thought that a 27" 7 string would be the most comfortable guitar that i've ever played

I want a 26.5" 7 string with a tele body.. and a Multi-scale 8 string. I'm not a Djent player or anything, I just love the extended range. I've been playing a Universe since 1998 :hobbes: I also have an old RG7620.. Needs a paint job, but it shreds.

So, I'm thinking about starting down the rabbit hole of Modular Synths... I really enjoy electronic "music" and noise and whatnot, and I have a shitload of pedals, so I figured I'd give it a go. I'm primarily a DIY builder with this kind of stuff, so I thought I might start with the Atari Punk console, and/or the Heterodyne Peyote Space Explorer. Does anyone have any suggestions on DIY synth builds they could recommend? I may join the "Lets talk about modular synths" thread as well (and read the rest of it while I'm at it). Anyway.. :idk:

Thinking of getting a cheap parlor or 3/4 sized acoustic. My old yamaha has a separating neck joint and an obnoxious neck shape that doesn't really agree with my wrists anymore.

Ohhhh shit dude. I was totally thinking that same thing. 'Wow extra huge douchey signatures with a bunch of pictures and gifs make me want to puke in a sock, freeze it, and beat someone to death with the hardened fury'
But hey, I'm a nice guy ...

Is it okay to get into Ram's Head Big Muffs and not liking Pink Floyd or Dinosaur Jr.?

Neither am I, but for the spacey doomy riffs that I steal, it works a treat. I wouldn't mind swapping out the pups, but it's car service and registration time. :idk:
