I would ask on Muffwiggler dude. It's going to be hard to find someone here that knows anything about these given the rareness factor. Those dudes probably know what's up.

I did there as well. Posting here as well because these dudes know their stuff too and it may not be an issue specific to this controller. Making sure i'm connecting everything properly and expecting the right outcome.

got a multimeter? check the values the keyboard is sending, and try all the different cv outputs, it's got some sort of joystick and ribbon controller as well?

just mess with every option and check every value, if you don't have one just keep playing into an oscillator C3 and C4 to compare whether the pitch is the same but an octave above (obviously you don't have to tune it to an actual C, just compare an octave.)

Don't have a multimeter. And i tried the C3 to C4 and the pitch is not an octave. It's off from key to key and that's the same for a full octave as well.

I held down middle C and tuned to C4 using an O'Tools tuner. C is now tuned. I hit the D key on the controller and it is tuned to a very sharp C# instead of D. Anyone know what could cause this?

Is it a very sharp D Flat according to the tuner or according to your ears?

right, now keep doing that with every output and every setting on every output to find what's offsetting it, or your keyboard seems to be truly not calibrated to 1v/oct.

a manual would help.

Hmm, but how are these people using VCOs that track at 1v per octave using it then?

For example, a guy on an old muff wiggler thread posted his signal chain and is using this with it which tracks at 1v per octave

Either they're not fussed on accurate pitch tracking or you could feed the signal into a quantiser (losing the gliss functionality probably)

looks like there is a "variable 1v/octave adjustment" knob. Is that how he is calibrating it to track properly?

First video is only the ribbon which is continuous rather than using discrete voltages like the keys so you can play in tune no problem.

That module does seem to have an inbuilt attenuator/amplifier for the input, which might work? I'm too lazy right now to do the maths
