Melvins coming here in October too. First batch of tickets sold out immediately. Next (last) batch on sale on Friday. More refreshing to do Friday morning, and then I will pay for it with the ZERO money that I have.

Seeing Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers July 21, Punch Brothers July 29

Infinitely more excited for the latter, if I get to meet Chris Thile I'll shit myself. It'll be really embarrassing

D.o.S. please note where I'm seeing Punch Brothers

saw Sunn O))) last night.

They weren't as pant-shittingly loud as I'd expected. Took my ear plugs out 1/4 of the way in as I didn't feel like I needed them. Good show though, but hindered a bit by the venue. It was supposed to be in a church, but got bumped up to some poxy nightclub.

Not as loud as Melt Banana last month. That was crushing. That drum machine was like being repeatedly kicked in the face.

I don't live in Portland anymore dude. :(

State theater is a fun venue though.

Also I'm finally going to see Church of Misery this fall. Woo-hoo!

Got tickets to Brontide's farewell show in August

Gutted they're quitting but should be a stellar gig.

Seeing Boris in sf this October. The only show I'm going to this year, and the only one I'll need to see. :doom:

I'm also going to this! Just gotta sort some cheap flights out.
I totally agree, sucks that they're calling it quits, Sans Souci has done a lot for me, but at least nice to have a farewell show. Went to the ATG the year they cancelled and have been dying to see them live again ever since I discovered them, which was Thrice's farewell show in the UK a few years ago.
