Played one at GC today and it's pretty nice. Anyone own one?

Not me, but I had to fend off a case of GAS for one a while back. The only reason I didn't pull the trigger was because they don't have trem arms.

I wish I wasn't tall and big so I could play mustangs and duo sonics =[

They sound lovely and always wanted one.

It's not that, have you seen those big fat guys playing like blues/country in strats? I know it sounds ridiculous.

I have one, they got me hooked on shortscales. I've found that the biggest thing that affects how big a guitar looks is weight, being makes even a Mustang look big, height doesn't usually make much difference from what I've seen. I'm pretty jealous of big dudes who get to use any guitar they want and not have it dwarve them because of it

Also Faldoe, the Squier classic vibe Duo Sonics are spectacular and can usually be had for cheap.

Damn, you can put a spare in your pocket ...

I have an Olympic White P90 Mustang (2016) and Olive Green Mustang (2016) ... excellent comfortable guitars ... I like that they don't have trems ... I think we covered this already but I thought I'd throw that in ...

The pocket already has a rather large gun.

The Mustang was honestly no less comically small on me than a Strat or any other normal size guitar, 24" is the shortest scale I can play though, I've tried the 22.5 and it doesn't fly.

Even then, I can hit some cowboy chords on Bass VI that I will NEVER be able to hit physically on any regular guitar; my fingers are just too damn big.

And my Fender Duo Sonic/Mustang Orgy continues, I just picked this Canary Yellow Duo Sonic (and now I am on the hunt for a P90 Burst Mustang):

I need major help :( ... btw, read on Fender's website that Cobain had a hard tail custom Mustang built for him ... it basically has the same configuration as the 2016 Humbucker Duo Sonic:
