Don't have a specific date for Fat Tone yet, but they do have an order in and we'll be busting ass to get everyone stocked for the next few weeks.
i like phil and wes and all the peeps at fat tone! such a nice store and they are more than happy to let you crank some amps and jam out for, well all day if you want!!!
Just a quick update on this. I've got the mantra, and I have to say ... HOLY SHIT.
Mind you, I was just playing it on an awful old p-bass clone through a guitar amp, and it still blew me away. This is a phenomenal overdrive. It's a bit higher gain than I was expecting; even with gain all the way down, it was quite saturated. And when the gain is all the way up, it is heavily distorted, starting to approach the fuzz territory. This thing really is all that. I can't wait until tomorrow night, when I'll get to play it on my full rig with my gigging bass. And of course I'll whip up a video demo for you all while I'm there. Oh and I'll do one for the Musket too.

Yes! Me too! I'm also curious about how the production Mantras differ from that "bass-tuned" version that Blackout did for Torche that was mentioned long, long ago.
I am shocked that our own steevdeadman has yet to post his thoughts on the MANTRA here because he convinced me to meet up at Ludlow Guitars in manhattan today during our lunch hour and he made some gorgeous tone on a bass with this thing.... I however refused to play it because I knew if I did I'd have carried one right out of the store....
It's on my short list....
