So my new harvester....

Postby SPACERITUAL » Thu May 11, 2017 8:44 pm

Ive had it for a couple of weeks now. Been working ridiculous amounts of overtime so haven't had much time to play it and even less time to write about it.

So the concept was: I basically want a surfcaster, but not really an actual surfcaster. Pretty much the middle point between my gretsch and my jaguar but that played like my hagstrom... I had a framus television a long time ago that i always thought had the sickest style but was totally not a player IMO. So i contacted anthony after going back and forth and having a couple custom experiences go shitty and not end up all that well. He is pretty fucking cool. Not much of a talker but into sweet shit and doing cool stuff and was stoked on my idea. So I just said hey man these are the specs I am 100% on, why don't you do your thang on the rest.

He definitely did his thing. He definitely did.

This guitar, to be succinct, it like an extension of me. I don't know if I was just explicit about what I wanted, or Anthony is just great at interpreting people in guitar form. This guitar is a mess in the best way. It is a fucking stupid semi hollow offset with a retarded headstock and dimensions that noone else would want and a paint job that doesnt make much sense and three p90s but they are really Dearmonds and also they weren't put in straight and it has a mastery thing. Also there are aliens on it. Also pretty much fuck you. Thats what Anthony gave me for my money and thats exactly what I wanted. Something nobody else would want or like or order or pay that much money for. Only in the end it turns out a lot of people like it. So basically its a total failure kinda.

But also its a total success and a very personal part of me now. Im actually getting it written that when I die it gets cremated first, then somehow injected into my body with the embalming fluids, then they burn us both and sprinkle the ashes at roswell or something. Whatever. The only problem there is that I'm planning on ordering a lot more stupid shit from Harvester so liquefying my collection is going to get complicated. Better pick a good ass mortician. No cheese dicks for this job. Any suggestions?

Was this Framus an inspiration for your Harvester?
