the problem with a new hope though is they have all been modded out with a cheap shitty MetalZ humber in the middle position wired where it sorts out occasionally.

So for me I liked TFA and I'm sure when I bother to watch it I'll like RO to some extent better then………. Lucas should have retired to a cave after Willow/indiana 3 instead of raping his first 3 "children" and then selling them along with the inbred children of his "children" to white slavers.

Best since Jedi. That isn't saying much, but that's how I felt after seeing it. I think I'd break down the entire shebang so far as the following, in High Fidelity ranking:

1. A New Hope
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Rogue One
16. The Force Awakens
29. Revenge of the Sith
47. Attack of the Clones
641. urinary tract infection
978. Phantom Menace

Everybody interested needs to see the Harmy's Despecialized high definition versions of the original trilogy, because they are UNREAL. Highly recommended! :joy:

so i went to see this yesterday and was really positively surprised. maybe it was just because i had such low expectations (and the fact that i've watched the original trilogy way too many times), but this was one of the best star wars things i've seen. at least in the top 3. not sure if it was even better than new hope or the empire strikes back. def better than return of the jedi.

some small stuff bugged me, but all the good stuff was so good that i didn't care. i don't know if that would change with additional viewings, but i'm mostly kinda bored with the whole franchise and have no plans of rewatching any of the movies. will probably go see the rest of the new trilogy though.

Glad you liked it ... the Han Solo movies should be entertaining

There's a nice Charles Nelson Reilly cameo in this clip:

Late check in I guess (I saw it weeks ago):

I liked it, thought it was good. Not as good as The Force Awakens.

Ok... Finally bothered....
First 20-30 minutes were pretty good...
Then boring, lots of boring
Then hey look darth... darth... helmet? What the fuck? With all this new technology and mouse money you make darth Vader look like darth helmet but without rick moranis's gravatas?
Then some more boring shit happened people fell asleep...
Explosions
ATATS
More darth helmet
And meh
