David is going to have to answer you on that one. I'm not very efficient with expression pedals, so I never really asked him about it.

I sweep the knob with the inside or toe of my shoe. I don't recall whose idea it was, but the knob is sized and located the way it is to make that possible.

in theory it could but it's not planned. I keep looking at the inside of the pedal to figure out an elegant way to get one in there but it's a bit tight, plus I would have to add some sort of switch to select whether you are using the pot or the exp
maybe a 3.5mm jack on the side ... but my self imposed rule about only having top mounted jacks will be broken ...
I will think about it but don't hold your breath for it :-)

It is indeed quite ergonomically placed to allow easy foot operation :-)

I can see that the knob size and placement could be foot-adjusted (depending on pedal board layout).
