Hahaha I post one link and explicitly say it's for one member...never again.

(No seriously I gotta clean out all my PM stuff.)

Losing track of what's happening, but how about this:

iPope: sell/send your pedal back to Jonny instead of having me buy it (as we were working out). Get a BIG BOX if Jonny is willing.

Jonny: sell me a naked Compact III with the longer delay times and perhaps any drilling template you might have so I can do my thing.

Ludwig: wait your fuckin turn you animal.

Oh, we're doing this shady shit in public now? Ok....

Yeah, I can agree to that. Would be easier anyway.
Jonny came at me with the offer of a buy back/buy in on a big box after I messaged you and before I caught the post here, so it'd make more sense.
Then you get to black yours out and what not.
Pro tip, though: label the switches. You'll need to.

WittG: Ask Jonny about doing an etched frog run, then you can have your own amphibious Limboner with elite styling.

We can't do group PMs as far I know--I tried. And everything I said was already out there, so I'm just trying to play the orchestra. Sorry if that was uncool to do. Everyone could get what they're after.

I still think you're an ideal hypothetical roommate.

(But I label switches for no man.)

No, its cool, I just didn't want to put Jonny on the spot.
So to speak.
Thanks buddy.
I've thought about life if something happened to my family and it was just me again and basically I think I'd have to trash and burn everything here in Oz and start over somewhere new.
Take it as a compliment that some sad, lonely, 30-something year old bogan would totally crash your domestic situation in the event of something tragic occurring.

That hug is A LOT creepier now, huh?

I am finishing my basement, so.

'Rooms wanted: sad, lonely 30 year old bogan.'

I already miss the Pelopponesian derail we had there. I gotcha, Ludwig, but don't see the Trumpocene as a departure from neoliberal trends. Seems to reinforce them if anything. As in: we treat business and it's unassailable logic as a solution to social and political problems...let's have the embodiment of late-stage capitalism run shit for us and see where wanton nationalism and greed can take us.

But I have a feeling I'm not picking up all of what you're laying down because this is a woefully inconvenient format for this.

I thought you guys had been doing that since before the great depression? :idk:

Oh wait, this isn't the POTUS thread...

I'm not trying to be that guy who says we can understand all social and political issues in 21st century United States by carefully studying the republican and democratic Greek polis, but we can kind of understand all social and political issues in 21st century United States by carefully studying the republican and democratic Greek polis.

^Essentially the thesis of everything Arendt and Strauss ever wrote.

I wrote it last night, then Googled it this morning. Apparently it's a thing others have said, though I will claim originality because that's how originality works.

My wife's dissertation is on sentient plants in early modern literature. Imagine her disappointment when she realized someone had already coined "trans-plant."
