Add to the list of killer bass distortions the MD-2 Mega Distortion and the Digital Metalizer MZ-2.
MD-2- In a way I think this is perhaps one the best bass distortion I've ever tried, boutique or mass produced. Killer lows, extremely touch sensitive and musical and a great gain range from mild od to full on cream. $30 well spent.
MZ-2- FOr odd solos and parts where the band drops out, this pedal is killer. Great two in one with an awesome (but not too bass heavy) distortion and simple but effective modulation section. Now instead of sending my dirts thru the BF-2, I just use the MZ-2 for parts where I need the two sounds or distortion and modulation.

Both of these are good pedals. Md-2 has a lot of sounds in it. Mz-2 is more limited, but still fun.BossMann73 wrote:Add to the list of killer bass distortions the MD-2 Mega Distortion and the Digital Metalizer MZ-2.

Have you guys never made coffee? Coffee brews at about 190 degreescherler wrote:If the water is too hot when you brew the coffee it's gonna taste like ass anyway
Do you know that water evaporates at 212 degrees?
(Actually even worse this was in Albuquerque NM anyways, where the boiling temp is 202 degrees)

Yeah, but it doesn't spontaneously evaporate…

Right - you never started a thread/club regarding the recently discontinued Mr. Black Bass OD and then tried to sell it for 2x what you bought it for.BossMann73 wrote:Fair enough. OK, the comparison should be between a $22 dollar pedal and a $170 dollar pedal. $170 is what I got when I sold the 2nd of my two Mantics. It's actually one of the very few boutiques that kept a lot of its value. I regularly sell other boutiques for 1/3 to a little under 1/2 of the new price,, despite the "pump and dump" accusation made by my everloving TB fan club.tremolo3 wrote:This.foomanfat wrote:Idk. Unless that Vitriol is one of those pedals you never see at a lower price new or used, the strymon/ct5 effect.
Isn't that the very definition of pump and dump?

Wow your life must be very sad and lonely to dredge up this stuff, but I will answer it because every motherfucker who owned one of those tried to do the same thing. It's called business man. When something is scarce, you try to get a premium for it. By the way, I ended up barely breaking even on that sale, proving once again, you make all these fucking claims with no backup fool. Anyhow, if that's all you got I suggest you go back to TB where the collective circle jerk can continue. Fuckin punk ass bitch.Mosfed wrote:Right - you never started a thread/club regarding the recently discontinued Mr. Black Bass OD and then tried to sell it for 2x what you bought it for.BossMann73 wrote:Fair enough. At least you admit you did it rather than trying to lie your way out of this one as well.
Starting a thread praising a pedal and then dumping it at a premium is the definition of pump and dump. You call it business, I call it slimy as fuck.
No wonder so many builders refuse to accept orders from you and even pretend to be out of production!
