Got my reverb machine last week, and it is nice! Although by now, three gigs in, it's been more of a fuzz machine with added reverb, I'll admit. The distortion is very useable, very fat and sort of "soft" at higher gains compared to my other dists, and also pretty transparent (yet grainy) at lower gains. I've been missing this type (or maybe just this quality?) all this time without even knowing!
This thing is pushing me towards more reverb in my sound than I'm usually comfortable with in order to get those special reverb sounds that made me buy it. Which is all good I guess, but also really gets me wanting one specific mod - which I will talk to mr. Industrialectric about
Meanwhile, here's an early date documented for you - me and my '86 Ibanez Pro Line w/Carvin bridge humbucker -> RM-1N -> 15w Velocette amp -> iPad mic. I'm pushing the drone with the pre gain and playing on top of that, with the odd momentary switch push now and then. (Sorry for uncool nerdy details and ditto cheesy title... you got to write something, first tried to be funny but wasn't, so.):
